I don’t think R&B star Amerie has had a hit single since her debut Why Don’t We Fall In Love. But she definitely has a fashion hit on her hands with this upscale take on the classic shirt dress. I love how Amerie‘s taken this basic dress and glam-ed it up by simply pairing it with nude Christian Louboutin pumps, and a teal Balenciaga motorcycle bag. The greatest thing about Amerie‘s dress is that it’s from The GAP. Yes, you can get this bad boy from The GAP. I’d love to own Amerie‘s complete outfit, although I know I can’t afford Christian Louboutin’s. But never fear ladies, because nude pumps have been big this season, so I’m sure you’ll have no problem finding a low end alternative to Amerie‘s high end pump.

OK what’s the big deal. Believe it or not she looks pretty ok and even if it did come from the gap how many celebs can pull off a outfit like that with matching sunglasses and a 1400 dollar purse? It’s not like she’s going down the red carpet or anything people. Most people shop and meet friends in things cheaper than “THE GAP” so give Amerie a break about the clothes. If the person who used this as a story was serious about what was going on with Ms.Amerie why not talk about how BEYONCE takes up and coming artists styles and steals them for her own. She’s recently been straight robbing Ameries flavor and Beyonces such a big star no one notices. Theres a lot of examples I could use all from her cd B-Day but none more noticable GREEN LIGHT! Dont believe it.
