I actually like this cover, but it seems as though Harper’s Bazaar is putting everyone on their cover these days. Can I get in on the action? Lol. Kanye West and his fiancee Alexis Phifer grace the cover of the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar. In the mag, they open up their Los Angleles home and themselves to the readers of Harper’s. Of his personal style, Mr. West had this to say,
“It’s like …pop luxe. Pop and luxury. Everything about me is pop and luxury.”
“Alexis is my original stylist,” says West.”She helped me get fresh!”
I would normally have a difficult time believing that Alexis is the one who helped Kanye “get fresh.” She’s usually so plain, but in this photo layout, Alexis is actually the more fierce half of the duo. Perhaps she is indeed Kanye‘s style inspiration, because on first meeting Alexis, Kanye seemed extremely insecure,
“Alexis was wearing Miss Sixtys. … I had on this throwback jersey, and the first thing I said to her, because I could tell she was stylish, was ‘I don’t normally dress like this!’ ”
The duo definitely appear to be a fashion match made in heaven. Here’s to wishing only great things for them.
