I know Kate Winslet‘s look is the result of a great costume department on the set of her new movie, Revolutionary Road, but I can’t help but to love this outfit. The movie is set in 1950s Connecticut, and this is definitely a period look, but it’s one that I could easily see being worn today. I love the addition of the little white gloves; they’re so feminine. With fashion, I believe that the more things change, the more they really stay the same. It says a lot that dress that mimics 1950s fashion looks just as contemporary as anything worn today in 2007.
