I’m sure you all remember when model Naomi Campbell had to do community service at the New York City Department of Sanitation. And I’m also sure you remember how she’d arrive to work everyday dressed in these fabulous outfits. The rumor then was that she was being photographed on the job by famed photographer Steven Klein for W Magazine. Well, obviously the rumors were true, because here’s Miss Campbell on the cover of the latest issue of W Magazine, in which she dishes all about her stint as a civil servant.
Naomi kept a diary during her time as a Department of Sanitation worker, and her personal diary entries have been published inside of the magazine. In one entry, Naomi discusses her love of sweeping.
“I find solace in sweeping. I have no other responsibility. I have no phone. I have the time to think. Just have, you know, peace.”
Also inside the issue, are those pictures of her as she went about her daily chores. I don’t know about you, but I know I don’t look this fabulous when I’m doing housework. It must be nice to be a model, lol.
