Heroes’ Hayden Panettiere is proving herself to be a budding fashionista. Here she is at a recent press event wearing a very chic, yellow and white Alice + Olivia sequin striped dress. Both sequin dresses, and in particular, sequin dresses by Alice + Olivia have been big this season amongst celebrities. Hayden’s style is clearly still evolving, as she’s going with more mature looks. The only place where I think Hayden went wrong is with the white shoes. I’m sure they’re very expensive, but they look cheap.
I don’t know how many of you can afford this dress’ nearly $400 price tag, but I know I can’t, lol. So I tried to find some more affordable alternatives. I knew with a dress this unique, that it would be difficult to find an exact match, so I looked for dresses that would achieve the same look as Hayden’s. The first dress I found is by J. Crew, and while it’s not striped, it is yellow and white, and has the same silhouette as the Alice + Olivia dress. The second dress is from Wet Seal, and while this one is striped, it has a very different shape, and is more casual. With either dress, I think you could achieve a look that’s similar to Hayden’s.
