Actress Eva Mendes recently walked the red carpet at the Grindhouse premiere in a pair of Diane Von Ferstenberg wide leg jeans. While Eva’s pairing of her jeans with a oversized sweater may be questionable, her choice in wearing this spring trend is not. Wide leg jeans are a great alternative to skinny jeans for those of us who have thicker thighs; the wider leg has an instant slimming and lengthening affect. But for those of us who are also short, you’ve got to be careful of selecting a jean that’s too wide. It’ll have the opposite affect, making you appear even shorter. So for the short ladies, make sure you choose a jean whose leg isn’t too wide, and that the hem is just right. Eva’s Diane Von Ferstenberg jeans cost $325, but you know I had to find some slightly cheaper alternatives, lol.
