While real women were wearing red, others were living the fabulous life at the Baby Phat runway show. I’m not a fan of Baby Phat, the line created by former model Kimora Lee Simmons, but maybe some of you out there are. Many celebs were at the event, embarrassing batches across the world. Seriously, Britney Spears was there (poor Brtitney) wearing a dress with the tags still on. Now I know some of us less wealthy batches may occasionally “forget” to remove our clothing tags (I wouldn’t wear and return, really I wouldn’t ;) ), but always make sure your tags aren’t showing! And then there was Lil’ Kim, who’s look I must admit was a personal upgrade, but she still looked plastic. And I won’t even discuss Ice-T and Coco. I thought Fashion Week was where all the “fashionable” people were? And if you thought the actual show brought the batchness, you were wrong. The clothes were just as trashy as the audience.

harsh!…granted its not great clothes shown, but kimora has great taste and has many many fans of baby phat and her other lines (KLS and Fabulosity) maybe she was trying something new??? designers are known to try new things…
Britney looks saggy and frumpy. Poor girl. I have to wonder if Kimora actually thinks people will want to wear designs like this. Thumbs way down, lol
Poor britney, she is a hot mess! I think this is the best show that Baby Phat has ever produced. I don’t like Baby Phat either or any type of “urban” lines. But this is by far the best work she has ever done. Maybe she is FINALLY getting serious about her fashion line! We can only hope!
