The NY Times recently allowed celebutante Mary Kate Olsen page space to ruminate on her favorite fashion item, a Chanel handbag. Here’s an excerpt:
I have a large, red quilted Chanel bag that I borrowed from my sister Ashley. I wore it to an event and never gave it back. Luckily, she’s moved on to another bag, so I’m safe for now. I’m not quite sure how many bags I have, but let’s just say I have a few. When I find a bag I like, I tend to wear it to death until I become obsessed with another one. This probably happens three to five times a year. But I always come back to the Chanel. The size isn’t overwhelming, and it has enough subtle detail to keep it interesting.
Oooookay…You can read the rest of the article at the Times website. I swear it reads like it was written by a ten year old, lol. The last I recall the NY Times was a reputable newspaper. Since when do they let celebrities write essays on their favorite fashion accessory? It’s almost like an assignment you would’ve been given in grade school. Oh, to be rich and famous, then you too could be a published NY Times journalist. In the picture above you can see the afore mentioned Chanel handbag.

I love the size and the brightness of her bag it is sexy and sheek and i love it.
Haters gonna hate and ballers are gonna ball. And the process of natural selection charges on. Mary Kate's style is both interesting and ground breaking. I would take her advice on clothing any day.
"The last I recall?" Don't you mean just "Last I recall?" That blunder alone reads like a ten year old. Don't hate because someone would rather read what she has to say in a major publication. You obviously have your own site bashing and congratulating celebrity style but when is the last time someone published your ramblings?
she is stunning
pfff…
i LOVE her bag.
