Barbie Loves MAC…Who Knew?

According to Mattel, Barbie loves MAC cosmetics. Who knew, lol? As part of a MAC/Mattel collaboration, both companies have come together to share their respective brands. On the Mattel side, they’ve designed a MAC Barbie doll. Barbie has a new profession now, she’s a make-up artist. With her make-up case, thigh high boots, striped jeans, and ethnic tunic, MAC Barbie is ready for her workday at her local MAC store (don’t they wear all black though?). These limited edition Barbies were priced at $35, but they’re no longer available at Mattel’s online store. If you want one, you’ll have to head over to Ebay.

On the MAC side of this partnership, the cosmetics company has designed a line of bright eye shadows, blushes, liners and lipsticks, with names like Fashion Leader, Real Name, and Loves Pink. The packaging for the line, called Barbie Loves MAC, includes a pink silhouette of Barbie with her well known ponytail. The products will be available in MAC stores this fall, or you can get them now on the MAC Loves Barbie website.
